Oh gosh! So many things have been going on and I have had very little time to communicate with my online friends recently so I have been receiving tons of messages containing inquiries of where I have been and what is going on.
As many of you know I moved back to Oregon about a month ago. That was very stressful and I still haven’t unpacked majority of my belongings lol Also, you may have noticed that my website www.voluptuousivory.com is no longer accepting new memberships. This is because I have been hard at work making a new site for myself! I am very excited about it so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the opening
The thing that has been taking up most of my free time that I would normally use to communicate with you all is my sister. She is getting married in about a week and I somehow got roped into helping her with just about everything lol I threw a bachelorette party for her last night and it was fantastic! We played a couple games including “Pin the Macho On The Man”.

I also made a giant papier mache penis piñata and filled it with candy, condoms, lube, fuzzy handcuffs, pocket vibrators and more! Watching all the girls beat the massive cock with a big stick was priceless lol

In addition I baked these delicious cockcakes complete with chocolate sprinkle ball hair and powdered sugar glaze Jizz Heheh These were a big hit!

After all the games and cake we went out to a bar and played Jenga, danced and a couple of the girls got very drunk lol

Overall, it was a great night
After my sister’s wedding this upcoming weekend I will be back online regularly and hope to catch up with everyone that I have been unintentionally neglecting. Love you all!

As some of you may know last fall I was in a music video for the song “Pans in the Kitchen” by a new artist named Hopsin. Since then I have gotten a wide range of feedback about my decision to partake.

There is no debate about whether or not Hopsin is a talented rapper. He is extremely gifted and I am positive that he has an amazing future ahead of him in the music industry. What is in question is the lyrics within this particular song. This is the verse from which many of the opinions on my participation originate:
“I used to push weight on the block
A fat chick, she was barely able to walk
She was good for one thing and that was taking the rock
Til she told me she was pregnant and I am thankful to god
That she wasn’t, cuz all that mess was making me hot
I’m happy that she ain’t the one to have a baby with hop
She so obese I take her out and make her stay in the car
Her body odor always smelling like some bacon and farts
I tell her how I don’t eat pork she takes it straight to the heart
Ready to make an assault, she need to make her fucking way to the barn
Cuz that’s where she belong, better leave me alone, calling, asking where I’m at
like she needs to know
A what a surprise, she thinking I’m the love of her life, becoming my wife
listen to me take some advice, you want to look nice, trust me I’m right
go the mother fucking gym and loose the gut, and you’re fine”

Obviously this is not a size positive song. It is actually quite the opposite in that it plays into many popular stereotypes about fat women. I have received many messages and emails from members of the plus-size community regarding my appearance in the video. Several have praised me for taking advantage of such a unique opportunity but the majority of the feedback has been been negative.
I think the problem here is that some people take things far too seriously. Do I agree with what Hopsin wrote? No, of course not. Do I see the humor in it? Yes. Just because I “acted” a part in a music video doesn’t mean I agree with or condone the message given. It just means that I understand that it is for entertainment purposes and is not intended to be hurtful.

One thing is for sure, I in no way regret taking part in that experience. The crew was awesome to work with and Hopsin, despite the harsh lyrics, was nothing but sweet to me. So let’s lighten up a little and just enjoy the genius of this artist rather than focusing on some silly words.
